WKFM - Sunday
Well, our first WKFM Sunday was yesterday and it went great! YAY! This is the bulletin board that I've been working on for the past several weeks - cutting out paper dolls, clothes, hair, etc. Anyway, everyone in the congregation who wanted to become a "member" paid "dues" yesterday and wrote their name on the paper doll for me to put upon the bulletin board to show their support! The title of the board was "WHO WILL SEND THE MESSAGE?" and it shows that all these people who paid dues will help "send the message" about Jesus loving them, etc. It turned out cute, I think. (although in this picture, I cut off some tops of heads, etc.) Anyway, it was a good day, the kids weren't TOO wild -- and I made it without pulling all of my hair out! :)
Had a "sad" weekend - two funerals to attend, Mike's great grandmother and a dear friend of his family growing up both died last week, so we had funerals on Friday and Saturday. Ugh! But ... good lives ...
So, it's off to another week this week ... Mike's gone to Chicago ... as of this morning ... for 3 days. I can't remember a time he's been gone from us ... I've gone away for the weekends, but not Mike, so I'm already kind of missing him, feeling like the "single mom" thing, etc. Morgan and I were discussing her "schedule" for the next 3 days and when she has to be where, what time, how she's gonna get there, etc. Luckily, my mom can help out with some of the after school activities that Mike usually runs her to and from. So that helps.
Ok, gotta get busy around here on this rainy Monday morning! Happy Monday.

Great job on the paper dolls and the WKFM board. CUTE!
((HUGS)) on being a single Mom for 3 days. It'll be some nice bonding time for you and Morgan.
LOVE all the layouts. I think I saw most of them while you were scrapping them, but it's nice to look at them again.
It's a gray rainy day here too. I'm sewing new numbers and updating patches on Chase's cub scout uniform and brag vest. He has his first pack meeting tonight with his new scout pack. I'm working in Mason's class this afternoon. I have a full day ahead.
Have a great day!

{{Major hugs}} On being a single parent this week! I know the feeling, and I don't like it one little bit! I hope the time flies quickly for you guys!
