Monday morning
Well, I'm back ...
Weekend happenings:
*Mom went to hospital for tests on Friday, nothing abnormal, still in pain, etc. No clue what she is doing today. She's been eating "perkoset" pain pills like candy, so that's not good for you, huh!? No clue what she's planning to do today. Someone mentioned to her that it might be "shingles" on the inside of her body ... stress related ... so who knows?! Is there a test for that?
*Saturday, I spent the morning/early afternoon at Katherine's ... making applesauce ... from one bag of apples. We have THREE bags of apples, so I have no idea if that's what I'm doing tonight too or not! Believe me, it's NOT worth it! That one whole bag of apples only made about 7-8 cups of applesauce. Granted, it was good applesauce, but ... it took about 2 1/2 hours to peel, slice, cook, drain, smash, bag that applesauce ... and to me, it wasn't worth the time, energy, etc. Oh well?!
*Saturday afternoon, I went to Walmart and got some necessities for home and then back home to get some things ready for my upcoming jewelry parties, get invitations printed, stamped, folded, etc. Can't wait for my kit and starter show jewelry to come! HOpefully that'll be this week ... since they had a DELAY in boxes last week. GRRRRR. (Don't even ask me about that one!)
*Saturday evening, we went over to Todd and Mary's and had pizza and watched a movie with them. It was a very relaxing evening ... a much needed one for both families! :) Great times with friends ... priceless.
*Sunday was church - in the morning. Morgan and I then started working on her science/microscope timeline for her science project due this coming Friday. We had already looked up information about the different microscopes, but hadn't looked up pictures to put on the timeline - as the teacher requested. So, we spent almost 2 hours looking up these pictures yesterday afternoon. We were on the next to the last one ... and guess what?! Yes, you guessed it ... our computer locked up! FROZE!!!!!! HELLO!? We thought we had lost all of those 20-25 pictures ... and all that time was wasted! The word processing program would not even come back on. I had to turn everything off and try again! Finally, when it came back on, it had saved a little bit of our pictures and we only had to "re-do" about 5-6 of them, so we had a total of about 7-8 to still look up, so that wasn't bad. However, we were on our way to church to babysit for some kids from 3-5 p.m. and we were NOT happy about leaving! At least it worked out!
*Last night, I skipped church because I just had so much to do and too emotionally drained to stay. Our pastor wasn't there yesterday, so I didn't feel like I would miss much. I got more done at home and that helped me psychologically! :)
Now, it's Monday and another week has started ... Happy Monday!

Busy busy busy!! I'm glad you didnt loose all of your pictures when the computer pulled it's little stunt!
Sorry that your mom still doens't have an answer to what is causing the pain! I will continue to keep her in my prayers!
And I say Applesauce cost little nothing to buy premade. Just tell Katherine to buy it! Or better yet, buy her a few jars as a gift! I think it would be well worth it. lol
