Weds

Well, things went fine yesterday with dad and he was able to come home too! However, he had a rough evening apparently. The feeling started coming back in his foot/ankle about midnight and the pain meds didn't seem to help at all from then until morning. Ugh! Mom said it was a little rough and he hardly slept, because of the pain. Hopefully he'll be able to keep that under control today (or get him some stronger meds) and he'll be on the road to recovery soon! I hope the pain goes away fairly quickly! But thanks for your prayers!

And then this silly little froggy looking thing ... is going to be the puppet for WKFM on Sunday. The kids will be making these after the lesson. I have spray painted 40 little paper bags green - frog color - for Sunday! They can color the eyes, tongue, arms, etc. and decorate it any other way they see fit! Our lesson is going to be on FROG -- F(ully) R(ely) O(n) G(od) and we're gonna be talking about how these missionaries have gone across the country, left their friends and family and FULLY RELY ON GOD every single day ... and that we, as kids, need to do the same here in the USA! I think it'll be fun and since they have something to correlate the story to - maybe they'll remember what FROG stands for some day!? Maybe!!!!

We will be studying Albania this month - and the Albanian missionaries have really gone all out on the Flat Stanley project that I sent them - pictures and stories for the kids. They have sent back (via email) about 10-12 pictures of Flat Stanley all over the place in Albania -- at their apartment, at their church, standing with the kids at the beach, at the Muslim Mosque, in a prayer group, drinking coffee with one of the missionaries, etc. It's gonna be fun for the kids to see what kinds of things they are doing over there. I'm hoping to take some pictures of our kids Sunday too and send them back to the Albanian missionary children!!! :) What a fun project!

Ok, enough said. My boss will be back tomorrow ... sigh!

The frog is great! The kiddos are going to really enjoy that!
