Weds
This week is VBS at our church. UGH! So ... work all day and then go to VBS from 6-9 p.m. each evening ... what a great way to spend your evenings, huh?! Actually, it hasn't been too bad so far. We've had over 100 kids each night so far (which is great) and for the most part, they've been pretty well behaved. We had to stay inside last night due to storms, but it worked out.
We had planned to take Thursday-Sunday off and go to Cincinnati to Kings Island this weekend, but ... can't really afford to spend that kind of money right now, so we've already got the time off work (Thursday/Friday) and so we are spending some much needed R & R and just goofing off around the house ... going over to Todd and Mary's pool to bask in the sun tomorrow and Friday ... spending some time in Indy getting a few things for the house ... just a nice LONG restful weekend ... MUCH NEEDED after our recent missions trip, which I STILL haven't caught up on my sleep/rest yet! ha!

What a gorgeous photo! I've always said that if you can't live near the ocean or the mountains, you should at least live near the sky.
I hope you soon get caught up on the rest. It's almost like jet lag, isn't it? Sounds like VBS is going well. What's the theme?

Our VBS theme was Avalanche Ranch this year - a cowboy/western theme. The kids loved it! WAHOO! Glad it's over! :)
