Easter

Hi. Here are a few pictures from our Easter dinner/egg hunt the other day. It was once again TOO COLD in Indiana to go outside for our egg hunt, but at least we were HOME ... and not visiting dad at some Hospital this year ... as we have been for the past two years! ha! YAY! That is one tradition we did not want to continue -- going to hospitals on Easter each year!! A good friend had told me last week that we should wrap dad up in bubble wrap all week and keep him in an enclosed room!!!! (So he wouldn't hurt himself or need any kind of surgery the day before Easter!) ha! Anyway ... here are some pictures ...

Morgan and her easter "basket" (of magazines and candy!) Ha! Imagine that -- Morgan's Easter basket has a Jonas Brothers magazine - or two - in it! ha!

The "flip flops" that matched her Easter outfit ... wasn't even gonna "fight" about this one ... shoes are shoes ... who cares that it's cold enough to have snow on the ground for Easter! ha!

And then there was this "bear" -- can you see it in the picture??? (It's blue) Nana came out after the egg hunt and asked Allison and I if we remembered Granny's old Avon jacket - which was this blue jacket? We, of course, remembered it. Mom had made a "Bear" out of the jacket for herself and Gracie grabbed it and hugged it and hugged it and kissed it. It was so cute. She (mom) then told us that she made each of us a little bear (because there wasn't enough jacket to make a big bear for all) and handed us all little bears as a reminder of Granny. It was sweet.
