Long weekend .............

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh .... the prospect of a long weekend is about to overtake me! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO tired this week. I don't know if it's because I was sick all last week and didn't get caught up on my sleep, or the fact that school started 2 weeks ago and we're getting up earlier or what ... but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to a long, relaxing weekend!!!!

A few things first -- Morgan came home VERY excited yesterday ... because "Jostens" (our class ring company) had been to the school to tell them about class rings, etc. UGH! And yes, the deposit is due this next Wednesday night ........ sheesh! Do they think we have money trees growing in our back yards? Uh ... no. With book rental at $200+- and then choir fees of $100 on top of that, English fees here and there and then a class ring fee? UGH! I'm going to have to get a second job to pay for all this high school stuff!!!! (or just keep her home and home school her - uh, I don't think that's an option!) HA!

Anyway ... here's the book she spent HOURS (ok, maybe not HOURS) looking through last night to try to figure out what she wanted on her ring and what kind of ring and what kind of stone and what kind of this and that ....... I can hardly wait till I get this bill! Ugh!

Tutoring went much better last night. We got the girls' homework from school and their spelling words, etc. and worked on those. Sharon had 2 homework sheets and a spelling list. We did both sheets and went over her spelling list twice and that was the end of time. Mom worked with Cassey on her numbers and letters and her homework and that was all the time she had too. Ugh! Oh well, at least we're getting something REAL accomplished now with their homework. We put it back in their backpacks and HOPEFULLY they will remember to take their backpacks today and TURN IN THEIR HOMEWORK! We shall see. (I need to email the teachers and find out if they brought it in today!) :)

Worked a little bit on the scrapbook this morning and got a couple of pages laid out and thought out in my head. Hopefully we'll get to work on that project this weekend and get it finished too! We're also "pool sitting" and "fish feeding" for some friends who are gone this weekend, so if it's nice weather, the pool might be calling my name ... or the SUN ... we shall see.
