TGIF !!!!!!!!!
I promise, I promise, I will TRY to post some pictures in the next post .......... Blogging is not as "fun" without pictures, huh?! (Note to self: Take pics of Morgan in new glasses, take pics of Cassie and Sharon in new clothes - will post about that below)
So, last night was "tutoring night" - among other things. A girl at church is having a rummage sale this weekend and she has twin girls and therefore has sizes 5-12 ... hello?! Do you know where this is going?! Cassie and Sharon wear probably 6x and 8-10, so guess where we headed last night rather than "tutor" the girls?! Over to Jill's house we went!!!!
There were LOTS of things for the girls to choose from ........ Cassie's eyes got real big and she said, can we have some of these clothes. We told them that they would need to try some things on to see if it fit and then we would decide what they each might get.
So ............ the "try on" process began ........... and went on and on and on .............. (yes, I should have taken pictures, but I didn't - ha!) ............... anyway - it was sooooooooooooooo funny to see them trying on things and coming out to show us and being SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thrilled that the clothes fit. There were 2 pair of BRAND NEW black jeans with sparklies on them with the tags ($14.99 each) and they fit Sharon. I asked her if she wanted both pair, even though they were the same thing, she said sure .......... and Jill said - Is $1.00 too much to ask for those since they are brand new?! HELLO GIRLFRIEND!!!!!
Lots of clothes ended up fitting each of them .......... and at one point, Cassie's pile was huge and she looked at us and said, are all these clothes going to be mine? We said yep, since they fit you! She smiled and said, Don't you think we should probably give some of them to someone else?! (Talk about melting your heart! How sweet was that?)
So anyway, we ended up getting Cassie $26 worth of clothes and Sharon got $28 worth of clothes! It was unreal! We took home 3 grocery sacks FULL of clothes for each of the girls!!! It was a fabulous feeling ......... especially after a "not so fabulous" day at work!!!!
Happy Friday!
