Monday mayhem!
Hi. What a whirlwind of a weekend .......... (here's the recap)
*Went out to eat for dinner Friday night in Muncie ... Olive Garden ... my favorite. It was a belated anniversary gift (card) from Mike's parents! YAY! Then, we stopped by their house to visit with them before heading home. Had a great visit with them and got some things planned for my week of vacation coming up ... working on some cards, etc. with Mike's mom.
*Saturday - well, started the day at Katherine's ... and the middle of the day ... and the end of my day ... at Katherine's. Ok, not that bad, but ... we were just going to go to Muncie to the recycling place, which ended up being ... going to Meijer also and then to Steak & Shake and then to Hobby Lobby, which is all fine in and of themselves ... but ... I was tired and had other things to do that day too. We left at 8:15 a.m. and got home at 3:40 p.m.
*Saturday evening, we had a turkey dinner at our church - our annual Thanksgiving dinner. It was nice, very well attended, over 300+ people there!
*Then I headed over to my grandma's to do a "chore" for her. UGH! Don't even get me started on that one!
*Sunday was church and then Walmart-ing in the afternoon and then church/revival last night.
Did ANYTHING get done at home this weekend?! NOPE! I was then supposed to start my Lia Sophia parties tomorrow night ... but ... I got an email from my friend for tomorrow night's party today and they have NO WATER and think their well has "dried up" or something, so she didn't know if she would need to reschedule or what. She's supposed to call me by the end of the day and let me know.
Then, we got a call this morning. Mike's cousin was shot and killed last night in Muncie. Sad, sad situation. We don't know all the details yet, but ... sad ... so her party was supposed to be Weds night, and who knows if she'll need to reschedule too! UGH!
Another friend's mother died last night too! (We just got word of this today)
My mom is still in pain, having an MRI tomorrow afternoon - the dr thinks possible pelvis fracture of some sort now??? Strange. My granny's kidney function is now 10% and they are talking "kidney dialysis". Ugh!
Lots of emotional things going on right now. Pray for me!
