It's almost Friday ........... thank goodness!

Well, it is a really good thing tomorrow is Friday. This has been a hectic week ... and it was supposed to be "slow" since my boss was gone.
No clue why this is typing so weird, but I can't get it to change.
Anyway, our garage sale was great over the weekend. Had BEAUTIFUL weather ... couldn't have asked for better ... had TERRIFIC sales ... could have sold a few more pair of jeans, but oh well ... and then ... my grandma got put in the hospital, so we have been back and forth to the hospital/nursing home ever since Saturday. It's been crazy. She was in so much pain ... for who knows what reason ... and they have FINALLY gotten her pain a little more under control as of today. Her dr has done blood work, CT scans, tests, and more tests, to no avail. Right now, her heart rate is only in the 40s and she doesn't like that (the dr) so she is taking to Granny's heart dr about possibly putting in a pacemaker soon. We'll see. That won't help her with the pain, but we'll see if it helps with other things. Hopefully, it will. Who knows?!
Nothing major planned for the weekend ... which is a good thing ... cause I need a rest. LOL We have AF (which stands for ANGEL FOOD) orders on Saturday from 9-12 p.m. at church, so I'll help with that like usual, but other than that, nothing major planned. I'd LOVE to go to a movie this weekend - maybe Hairspray or No Reservations - 2 quite different movies, but ... I'd like to see either/both of them sometime soon! Maybe a date night??? Ooooh, what is that??? Haven't had one of those in ages! :)
School starts around here pretty soon ... August 20th. We went school clothes shopping last weekend after the garage sale and found Morgan several pair of jeans ... which is good ... just need to find a few more tops and khakis or something and we'll be all set. :) Can't believe she'll be in 8th grade. Sounds sooooooooooooooo much older than 6th or 7th grade, doesn't it? Ugh!
Ok, enough rambling. I'll keep you posted on my Granny's condition. Have a great Thursday!

    Love the picture Miss Karmen!!

I'm glad to hear that the garage sale went so well! That is always a nice thing. Good job on getting the school shopping going also! We've started, but haven't done a lot yet.

Hope your Granny starts feeling better VERY soon!!!
