It's Pumpkin Time .............
Some pics from our weekend trip to the orchard/pumpkin patch.
This is Lauren petting the goats and feeding them. I was SHOCKED she let them eat right out of her hands. Gracie wanted NO PART of that one though!
Austin thought it was funny that they also had "gourds" at this orchard, instead of just pumpkins!
Very, very few times over the past few years have we been able to go to the orchard in shorts and t-shirts and still be hot! This was one of those times ... it was 85-90 degrees on Saturday -- very strange weather for October in Indiana.
But ..... as they say ........ stick around for a few more days/hours and Indiana's weather is bound to change ........ Wa-La ......... woke up this morning to 48 degrees, chilly breezy, etc. Only supposed to be a high of 59 degrees today. And of course, Austin's last little football game is tonight at 6:30 p.m. and it will be CHILLY WILLY! We're gonna have to wear our thermal underwear tonight ... and gloves! Watch out winter, here we come!

We ALWAYS have to get a sample of the homemade donuts at the orchard. That's what this orchard is "known for" is their donuts! YUM! The girls LOVED them!!!!

Fun, fun, fun! We went to that same orchard a couple weeks ago. Reuben, Eli, and Allison Kay all had a wonderful time feeding the animals, slurping the cider, munching the apples, and inhaling the yummy cider donuts. We only wished it had been cooler. However, for some reason or other, we didn't have to do battle with the yellow jackets, as we usually do. Memories are made of this stuff, Girl!
