Goodness gracious, where does the time go?

Seems like just yesterday I was typing ... and then a week went by ... and here we are almost to the end of the following week ...

Last week, when I took Brittany, my mentee out, somehow we got onto the subject of monkey bread. Have you ever had it? Oh my, it's really, really good! However, she made it differently than I did. She makes it with marshmallow layers in between the biscuit layers. YUM! So, I was telling her how that sounded SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good.

Wouldn't you know last night when I went to pick her up, out she (and her dad) walked with plates, forks, napkins ... and a large Tupperware container with FRESH, HOT MONKEY BREAD that she had just taken out of the oven. YUM!!!! It was soooooooooooooooo good!!!!

She's such a sweet girl ... trying to befriend her is very easy. She's a joy and fun to be around. We went and got her nails done last night and she thoroughly enjoyed that. Then went to Chinese (her choice) for supper. She said - Might as well go for Chinese tonight, since we've seen so many Chinese people already today ... meaning the "nail people" were Chinese too! ha!
