Monday ... afternoon

Oh my word! Is this working now? This was one of the first day of school pictures last week! (Now that it's a week late!)

I've only been trying to blog this and show pictures for a week. What's up with that?!

We had the first 7th-8th grade dance on Friday night. It was fun. I've got pictures from that too, but not uploaded on my hard drive here at work yet.

Saturday, went to Katherine's to work for about 4 hours and then to Mary and Todd's for a pool party -- just vegging in the afternoon with them was nice. It had been a long, exhausting week, so it was nice just to veg with friends.

Sunday was church and working on WKFM crafty things in the afternoon. Worked on about 25 "wordless book/bracelets" for the kids yesterday and am still working on assembling the little paper dolls for the WOrld Map. They are turning out cute! :)

Well, Morgan will find out today if she got cut from the v-ball tryouts or not. There were 43 7th graders trying out for 12 positions. Ugh! I doubt she makes it - and I think I am more nervous than she is about it. Ugh! How's that for ya?! Tomorrow after school is swing choir tryouts. The swing choir director already told the band kids that she would be choosing CHOIR kids FIRST ... I didn't think that was necessarily fair, if the bands kids had a great voice, but oh well?! We'll see how that turns out too!

Oh, speaking of band, Morgan got her flute on Friday afternoon. She got to bring it home this weekend. She was THRILLED! (Of course I've got "flute" pictures from the weekend) Can't wait till she can play more than the ONE NOTE she knows right now! LOL
