Only 4 more weeks!

We are leaving in 4 weeks to go to Novi, Michigan for our annual scrap convention ... where Mary and I meet up with Kathy for the weekend. We are all soooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to it! Not only is it a great time with friends, although there is a 5 hour drive involved, it's a nice relaxing weekend ... getting to do what we all love to do ... scrap!!!!

Right now, I can't even fathom waiting 4 more weeks to get to scrap ... but there is PLENTY to keep me busy in the meantime. Sometimes I wonder how busy I can possibly become ... ugh! It's all good stuff ... it's just a LOT of good stuff. In fact, I'm finally having lunch with my mother in law today ... first time I've seen her in about 3 1/2 weeks ... we normally try to visit each weekend or at least every other weekend. I haven't seen her since BEFORE my b-day (at the end of March) and she actually mailed my b-day present to me because I hadn't been up there. Sheesh! What a pain! Life is just too crazy sometimes.

Things will HOPEFULLY slow down a little bit once we have this "estate sale" on Saturday, May 3rd at Granny's house. We're not having an auctioneer come, but rather, we are doing the sale ourselves. It costs an arm and a leg for an auctioneer (about 40% of profit) and we would much rather save that money for the estate ... rather than pay someone to sell the same stuff we can sell ourselves. Ya know?! BUT ... that means LOTS of work ahead of time getting things ready. Sheesh!

I finished typing the 550 page transcript over the weekend. Can we hear a loud HOORAY for me!!!! Now I have to worry about getting all the exhibit pages and index and table of contents and all that. It'll take awhile, but not as long as the typing takes! UGH! Hopefully I'll get to work on that one night next week and get it out of here! (It's due to the Court of Appeals the first week of May, I believe.)

I'm planning a "bleach party" at my house Thursday evening ....... IFFFFFFFFFFFFF it is warm here ....... to have some friends come over and help clean out/bleach out milk jugs with me. (ha!) We cleaned out 397 a few weekends ago and I bet I have almost that many more. I cannot even believe how fast they are coming in now! UGH! I've got to put a stop to this soon! LOL My garage is being overtaken by milk jugs! I'll be sure and take pictures on Thursday night ... to post ... ;)
